A Snub Pulley is a smaller pulley installed close to the drive pulley (head pulley) to increase the belt's wrap angle around it. This provides more contact area, which greatly improves traction and driving efficiency.


Location: Right next to the drive/head pulley.

Main Job: Increases belt contact on the drive pulley for better grip.

Key Feature: Essential for preventing belt slip, especially in high-tension or long conveyor systems.
